Our food is stored in a building which when we started the project in 2013, was an adequate size. As the project has grown and we sadly need to help more people, we need more space to store all the food donations. During the last year our food donations have had to be stored in 2 locations, which is far from ideal, for stock control and valuable volunteer time.
We currently receive over 14 tonnes of food in the year, which is double from when we started, and need a much larger storage area to sort and distribute all the food. We’re looking for a clean, accessible and secure building, approx. 70-80sq.m. to be able to use as our warehouse, or maybe some land that a building of this size could be put.
