Coronavirus Update – please note change of locations

26th March 2020

As the Coronovirus pandemic unfolds in the UK, our main priority is ensuring the safety of everyone who comes to our foodbank – whether it’s someone needing help, someone volunteering their time, or someone making a donation.

Things are changing quickly, so we’ll keep this page updated regularly with information about what’s happening at Caterham Foodbank, and how people can access support, and help us be there for people in crisis.

We’re still supporting people with emergency food but we’re running a reduced service due to measures put in place to slow the spread of infection.

Please do not come to the foodbank if you’re showing any symptoms of Covid-19, ask a friend  or neighbour to come for you instead. To limit contact time at the foodbank centre, we are not offering refreshments and your food will be in prepacked bags as far as possible.

If anything changes we’ll let you know immediately on this update.

UPDATE : AS FROM 27th MARCH ALL FOODBANK SESSIONS, MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS,  WILL BE HELD AT CATERHAM BAPTIST CHURCH, BEECHWOOD ROAD.

We have such a generous community in Caterham and want to thank you for all the donations that are still coming in. Please look at the Give Help section to see what are current needs of food are, or consider a financial donation so we can buy the correct stock as we need it. Cheques can be made payable to Caterham Foodbank and posted to the foodbank address. If you’d rather do a bank transfer our bank details can be found on the standing order form here.
